I am currently an ambassador for Sweaty Betty which has given me the opportunity to hold classes and events for the brand which I have found such joy in doing. Being able to teach beyond my everyday classes has allowed me to share my passion for fitness with so many people.
About Mikky Rebel Fit
My name is Heather Mikkelsen and I am originally from Brooklyn, New York. I have been in the fitness industry for over 25 years and when I moved to London I wanted to bring that Brooklyn vibe to my classes.
My style of teaching is all about having fun, training hard and to challenge you so you leave the class feeling fit and fierce.
Beyond teaching, I also run women’s health seminars and events. Alli Goldbold (an amazing nutritional therapist and author of two brilliant recipe books “Feed Your Health 1 & 2”) and I started ‘Rock The Glow’ which is primarily about educating women around the subject of peri-menopause and menopause. Alongside the seminars I run fitness classes for women and Alli runs cookery workshops both online and at her home in London.
Since the Coronavirus outbreak and the closure of all health clubs and gyms I have had to completely change the way in which I teach. My kitchen has now become my home studio, where I teach live classes through the week giving those who join me a mix of Yoga, HIIT, Stretch and Tone classes. I aim to keep each class exciting, new and always with kick ass playlist!

Stretch and Tone
This class is a mixture of mat exercises to improve flexibility, strength and core. Stretch and tone is easy to follow and is suitable for everyone at any level.
Workout with Weights
Strength training is crucial for maintaining muscle mass and healthy bones. Strong is healthy so get your dumbbells out and let’s get lifting.
This is a strong Yoga practice that links traditional asanas with not so traditional asanas with synchronised breath in flowing sequences. Namaste and rebel on!
