This class that will help improve your flexibility to maintain a range of motion in your joints which will help you glide through your everyday activities. Stretch and Tone is a chilled mat class that involves a mixture of Stretch, Yoga and Pilates.
There are many benefits to regular stretching, not only can it help increase your flexibility, which is an important factor of fitness, but it can also improve your posture, reduce stress, body aches, and prevent injuries. Equipment is used within the class such as a small Pilates ball, yoga strap (bathrobe belt will do just fine!) and yoga blocks (two tins of canned goods works a treat!).
Heather was always my favourite gym instructor before lock down, and her online classes are just as good, just as challenging. Yoga with weights really opens up my shoulders along with making me sweat. Stretch and Tone is brilliant for my core and I loved the Fleetwood Mac yoga flow. Incorporating her excellent music taste into classes is a genius stroke. Thank you Heather.
Discovering Mikky Rebel during Lockdown 2.0 was a great boost – for a very reasonably price here are live classes to join which cater for people like me who are concerned about creaking knees, dodgy backs (the list goes on) but still want to be pushed to improve their fitness. Heather constantly reminds participants to watch their movements and all the while you are having fun and feeling a connection with others in the class. Then there are streamed alternatives If you can’t make a class ….just sign up and try it… Lockdown 3.0 is going so much better thanks to Heather.
Heather’s classes have been brilliant particularly during lock down as she really changes up the content so it always feels interesting and challenging. Considering it is on line her instruction is always really clear and always focused on making sure participants are doing it correctly and challenging themselves. I really feel like I have been progressing each week. Her classes are positive, honest and rebel yoga is a great representative name – classes are fun, original and accessible to all.
Every morning I look forward to Heathers online classes. Each one is so individual and different which I think is really important. She is highly professional, I love the way she adapts her kitchen into a beautiful looking yoga space. In these odd times where we can’t visit a gym or be near people this is really important to me. I don’t know what I could have done without her.
