This class is the perfect fusion of strength and flexibility. You get the benefits of strengthening and toning up your body as well as improving your flexibility all in one class! We begin with a yoga flow to warm up and mobilise your body and then we hit the weights and go through different asanas to give you a class that is dynamic and interesting. We use light hand weights for this class but tins/water bottles work as well.

Besides feeling fit and strong, strength training is especially effective at slowing the loss of muscle mass and keeping your metabolism in high gear. Weight training is also one of the most effective ways to maintain strong bones. Let’s get lifting!

I have done thousands of gym classes over my fitness lifetime and as a teacher, Heather ranks up there as one of the best. Her classes have it all – consistent variety, clear instruction, great humour, belting soundtracks – and they are just right the level of challenging! Thank you Heather  – you are a star!

Heathers classes are always challenging but also a lot of fun. My legs, bum and tum ache but she reassures me that it’s all good! Her teaching is fantastic. So clear, perfectly paced and easy to understand the exercise. And the music is a huge bonus. I am aspiring to have a bum of steel! Heather promises this will happen but only if we do the work! She is such an inspiration and a lovely lady.
